This log bed has approximatley 7' tall log headboard and footboard posts.  These rustic beds have a flat blue pine side rail which bolts into the headboard and footboard.  Wood cross pieces sit on the side rails to support the mattress and box foundation.  This bed has a light lacquer finish. These are REALLY rustic beds.  The Aspen wood has so much character to it and we like to leave little pieces of limbs and knots on the posts which adds to the character.  Some of the wood has really cool worm tracks on it which adds to the uniqueness of the wood we use.  These are solid beds with a real rustic "old time" look to them.  We can make your  bed in a full, queen or king size and any standard mattress set will fit the frame.  California king size log frames are no problem and no additional cost to you.  Please allow 4-6 weeks if we need to build a bed for you.
