This is beautiful high mountain cedar, very similar to juniper, with lots of character. The headboard posts are typically about 5 1/2 ft tall and footboard posts are about 4 ft tall. Plank side rails bolt into the headboard and footboard and wood cross pieces support the mattress and box foundation. We usually have queens and kings in stock, but if we need to build one for you, please allow 6-7 weeks. California kings are also available on request.

This such a cool bed. We use nice big slabs of juniper for the headboard and footboard and support them with these beautiful juniper log posts. The posts are big and twisted and they have big knots. There is so much character going on here. This is a work of art if I have ever seen one! The bed has lots of light creamy colors to dark amber color. If you need this bed in a California King, just let us know, there is no additional charge. We use a light lacquer finish on this bed. These spectacular, rustic beds are made of unsually large juniper logs and slabs . Juniper of this size is hard to find and very unique. Each bed is different and has its own unique character.
