This rustic cabinet can be used in a bathroom, bedroom or kitchen for extra storage. We make this cabinet out of blue pine. The cabinet has several shelves inside. This is a gorgeous barnwood hutch with lots of storage. The hutch features 2 glass front doors in the top with shelf space in between. There is lots of space on the top to use as a work space or display. The 2 drawers are set on full extension ball bearing glides for easy movement and 2 doors below allow for more storage. This wood is beautiful and has lots of character. We even had a customer who installed a small sink in the top and used it in their bar. This can be built to you specifications also. This beautiful buffet looks great in a dining room or kitchen. This rustic hutch is made in 2 pieces so its easy to move. The top of the buffet has 2 glass doors, framed in beautiful blue pine. There are 2 adjustable pine shelves in the top. The corners of the buffet are finished with full log trim. The bottom of the buffet has 2 drawers with 1/2 log drawer fronts and small log handles. The drawer boxes are constructed of 7 ply birch which is glued and stapled for durability. The birch ply resists shrinking and swelling with weather conditions. The drawers are then installed on glides. There are 2 doors with small log handles and there is an adjustable shelf in the bottom. Again, we use full log trim on the corners. This piece has a wained edge base. We finish this off with a boiled linseed oil finish. Lacquer can be applied over the oil, if you prefer. This does add to the cost. This is such a cute piece of furniture. We built this one for our house and liked it so much, it is now a regular in our showroom. We use nice thick blue pine for this cabinet and leave the wained edges on all the way around for that rustic look. The pantry has top and bottom doors with 2 adjustable shelves in the top and 1 adjustable shelf in the bottom. A boiled linseed oil finish is used to keep that rustic look.
