This is by far the most beautiful bed we have had.  This is completely hand carved by a very talented artist in Montana.  The headboard posts are 5 ft tall and the footboard posts are 42" tall.  The headboard and footboard are intricately carved with buffalo, trees , meadows and a stream and painted in realistic color.  The slab footboard and headboard are 3" thick and the carving is 3 dimensional.  The bed has double log side rails with wood cross pieces to support the mattress and box foundation.  This is the most exceptional bed we have seen.  Custom designs are available but because of the extensive work in this bed, allow 3-4 months for compeletion.
