This log bunkbed set has posts that are 4" - 4 1/2" in diameter.  The bunkbed has double log side rails on each side with wood cross pieces to support the mattress and bunkie board.    There is a seperate log ladder that hook onto the top rail of the top bunk. This rustic bed has a boiled linseed oil finish, however, if you would like a lacquer finish, over the oil, for a maintenance free bed frame, let us know.  We do charge extra to lacquer this bed frame.  This bunkbed is shown in the "Traditional" style, meaning that all of the wood spokes and headboard and footboard pieces are straight, no crooks etc.  We do a skip peel look on this rustic log frame which gives light and dark areas.  Kids love these beds and they are indestructable!!  Give them a try, you'll see.  We can build these in a Twin over Twin or a Twin over Full.  Any standard twin or full size mattress will fit into the frame.  Please allow 4-6 weeks if we need to build one of these for you.
