This log bunkbed set has posts that are 4" - 4 1/2" in diameter.  The bunkbed has double log side rails on each side with wood cross pieces to support the mattress and bunkie board.  The bunkbed is made "splitable" so that the beds can be used, seperately, as 2 twin beds.  A log ladder is also included with the bed.  The ladder has large hooks that fit over the top rail for stability.  This rustic bed has a boiled linseed oil finish, however, if you would like a lacquer finish, over the oil, for a maintenance free bed frame, let us know.  We do charge extra to lacquer this bed frame.  This bunkbed is shown in the "Traditional" style, meaning that all of the wood spokes and headboard and footboard pieces are straight, no crooks etc.  We do a skip peel look on this rustic log frame which gives light and dark areas.  Kids love these beds and they are indestructable!!  Give them a try, you'll see.  We can build these in a Twin over Twin or a Twin over Full.  Any standard twin or full size mattress will fit into the frame.  Please allow 4-6 weeks if we need to build one of these for you.

This is such a GREAT looking bunkbed.  We took the style of our santa fe bed and made these stackable twin beds.  Yes, thats right folks, you can take them apart and make 2 twin beds if you prefer.  These are made of colorful blue pine and have that southwest design along the headboard and footboard.  The beds have slat supports for the mattress set.  The bunkbeds come with a ladder.  This set is also available in a Twin over Full. We finish these with a boiled linseed oil finish.  If you would like us to lacquer over the oil for a really rich finish, we can do that.  It does add to the cost.  Please allow 4-5 weeks for us to build these for you.
