Custom Rustic Furniture Since 1983
Learn about our journey into building a rustic furniture collection our customers know and love
Born in the 80’s, Still Growing Strong
Owner Clay Folda had a vision - he saw a log bed and realized that was his future. Together with a couple of builders, they began creating rustic beds. The beds were a hit and the natural progression was matching rustic bedroom furniture. So began the journey of Wild West Rustic Furniture.
Along with his wife, Carol Folda, Wild West has grown into a HUGE retail showroom with two shops on the property, 18,000 square feet in all. Now we have our son, Cody Folda, who has added a new generation to the business. His ideas for new styles keep us up to date with the changing trends. We are all about being a FAMILY owned and operated business.
Our showroom is jam packed with rustic bedroom, dining, living room, and office furniture along with upholstered and leather selections. We also offer a huge variety of rustic lighting, taxidermy, rugs, hides, blankets, other bedding, artwork, carvings, and SO MUCH MORE.
Urban Rustic & Modern Mountain Style
A lot of the rustic furniture is American made with a large part of it built right on site. Because the business has grown so large and the demand for the furniture is so high, we also have a little help from a few local shops as well as ordering from about 30 new companies whose emphasis is on urban rustic and modern mountain style.
While a good percentage of our customers buy right from the showroom floor, we also build custom pieces. There’s always someone who has a special piece they need built. We work closely with the customer, listen to their ideas, draw up what their vision is, decide with the customer on the wood to be used, and give schematics to our builders. It’s so exciting to see the piece come to life and even more exciting to see the customers’ reaction when they see it.
If you are looking for one special piece for your home, office, lodge, or cabin, or are interested in furnishing your entire space, we can help. Our in stock inventory is HUGE and our ability to build quickly but QUALITY gives us a huge advantage. This also allows us to be the rustic furniture designer that our customers desire. Because we build the furniture and know what can be combined to create an appealing flow, we feel comfortable suggesting and steering customers who have a hard time putting it all together. And we do it for FREE. No charge for advice and guidance.
We LOVE what we do and love to see customers who continually come back and bring their friends. Our repeat business is huge and the reason for that is the quality, the price, and the personal attention we give each customer.
