Birch Bark Lamp Shade

Description

These lampshades are perfect for your rustic house, cabin, or lodge! They are made by hand by a North Idaho artist out of birch bark sheets she harvests herself. These can vary in color and character, so check with us for photos of the shades being considered. If you aren’t already familiar with birch bark shades, there are a few things you should know about them. Birch bark naturally has some holes and peeling; this is character, not a defect. It is also not translucent like many lampshade materials and will not let light through except for the holes in the bark and the top and bottom of the shade.
